Just a quick post from Sundays AMGEN!

POPPIES & AMGEN

Took a quick pic of a few of our poppies this morning, charged the battery on the camera & then off to the races (AMGEN)... About two minutes of excitement & then it was over from my vantage point. This leg of the race started in Nevada City & 12 to 15 minutes later the racers were flying by me here in Grass Valley. They will finish this leg (the first of 8 legs in the AMGEN) today in Sacramento. I used my 75 to 300mm Tamron lens (hand held) today and I don't think I'll do that again. I believe I would have better photos if I'd used my 28 to 135mm Canon lens.. hindsight---so next time.
